On the rooftop terrace, where figs and octopuses once dried, the Santa Catarina terracotta now offer their softness to bare feet. The saltwater pool, without chlorine, dominates the patio. One is refreshed by the view of the white cubic city and in the distance Mount Saint Miguel. The large mirador offers a magnificent view of the Ria Formosa and the islands.

On the ground floor, the dining room offers breakfast and we have dinner under the hundred-year-old white vaults. It is illuminated by the light from the white patio that enters through large black metal windows. Here, the old and the modern are juxtaposed without ever conflicting. You can also sit in the patio or to shelter from the summer heat. Opera garden furniture created by Fermob is a nod to the Parisian past of the designers. 

The winter lounge, like an old chapel, invites you to read or relax, in the cool in summer and by the fireplace in winter. A library, a record player, board games, here the pace slows down.
